The role As the Manager Business Development at AMRF , you'll be at the forefront of driving growth and forging strategic partnerships. Your goal is to identify new business opportunities, foster client relationships, and expand our network. By developing effective strategies and staying ahead of industry trends, you'll ensure AMRF's success through collaboration and business expansion. You'll have the opportunity to build trust and engagement with diverse stakeholders, all while skillfully managing resources and balancing priorities. Leading the development of business processes, representing the AMRF brand, and managing project risks are key to your role. Your efforts will support government policy decisions and investment in advanced manufacturing initiatives, ultimately contributing to significant economic outcomes for the Western Parkland City. What you will bring to the role Strong commercial knowledge of advanced manufacturing Proven networking and advocacy skills with a track record of developing partnerships, maintaining relationships, and influencing key decision makers. Ability to manage a portfolio of diverse industry partners efficiently and effectively. Strong experience in negotiating with senior stakeholders in a wide range of organisations (e.g., private enterprise, tertiary/education, government) Self-motivated, proactive in capturing customer relationship management information, and result driven. Highly organised, with strong presentation and brief writing skills and attention to detail. Sound experience in defining, high-level planning and scoping manufacturing projects with a technical team. What is an essential requirement: Tertiary qualifications in business development, or in a related discipline, or demonstrated, equivalent, relevant professional experience and training.
