Perseus is seeking aGroup Manager Business Improvement to lead our safety, environment, and community relations initiatives, and to drive business improvement across our operations. Reporting to the General Manager, Operations, this role will lead a small team, design and implement business improvement systems, and develop strategies focused on improving safety, operational efficiency, and cost reduction. Lead a team of business improvement specialists and coach people leaders to implement business improvement activities. Design, implement, and maintain frameworks, standards, and procedures for the Management Operating System (MOS), Business Improvement process, and Continuous Improvement process. Identify and support the delivery of business improvement opportunities. Drive ongoing education to standardise methodologies and evolve business improvement frameworks. Design, develop, and embed business improvement principles, techniques, tools, and systems across the organisation. Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to develop strategies that improve safety, efficiency, and reduce costs. Lead and oversee business improvement projects from inception to completion, establishing goals and reporting on progress. Ensure financial models are in place to validate savings and value creation from improvement projects. About you A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. Relevant business improvement certification in methodologies such as Lean/Six Sigma. 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing Business Improvement systems across multiple sites. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels. Proven experience in engaging, training, and coaching staff in business process improvement tools and methodologies. Strong ability to develop and facilitate end-to-end process maps and process improvement frameworks. Advanced data analysis and project management skills. Demonstrated change management expertise and the ability to drive organisational change. Desirable French language skills Industry membership Where you’ll be working This position is based in Perseus’s Subiaco office, with a corporate team of roughly 40 employees and growing. You’ll join a small corporate team, allowing for close interactions across all departments and levels of the business. This role supports our operations across Africa and involves traveling to the region several times a year.
