About the role Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Manager Campus Planning and Delivery leads the Campus infrastructure and property strategic planning, the Program Management Office (PMO) and the Procurement Office to plan, advocate for and deliver key strategic projects and programs of work aligned to the TAFE Gippsland Strategic Plan. The Manager Campus Planning and Delivery is responsible for leading a small team of business, planning, project and procurement specialists, and consultants to develop strategies and plans, manage campus property and leasing, coordinate grants, manage the PMO, procurement and commercial contract activities, and coordinate the planning and delivery of capital works projects. The team establishes and maintains effective policies, strategies, plans and procedures to ensure compliance, best practice and achievement of corporate services and financial targets with respect to capital works, property and other infrastructure. About you As the Manager Campus Planning and Delivery, you have a proven track record of effective leadership with a focus on inspiring and developing teams. You have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work with a diverse range of stakeholders and communicate at all levels, from Executive to students, government agencies and internal and external customers. You have a proven ability to think strategically, plan and make effective decisions when you may not have all the information to hand. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to find innovative and practical solutions to provide direction and address operational challenges. You have strong business acumen and experience working across a range of business functions, providing you with the ability to think strategically and make improvements that benefit the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation. Qualifications and experience Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, engineering, project management or related field are highly desirable Proven experience in similar leadership roles, gained in dynamic organisations is essential Experience in managing and leading strategic planning, developing and reviewing policies, strategies, plans and procedures is essential Mandatory requirements Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance Current Police Check (no older than 12 months old) Current Driver’s Licence (travel between campuses is a requirement of the role) A six-month probationary period applies to this position.
