About the Role As Manager Casework, you will lead and inspire a dedicated team of ITC Case Managers, guiding the achievement of safety, wellbeing, and permanency goals for children and young people in intensive therapeutic care. You will play a key part in supporting the Regional Director with service contract delivery, while providing valuable input into the planning, growth, and execution of impactful services. You'll work closely with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, making a positive difference in outcomes achieved for the children, young people and families we support. This position will support our Northern & Southern ITC services with regular in-person attendance (minimum monthly) in these regions being a requirement of the position. The role can be based in either Hurstville, Wollongong or Ballina/Lismore. Lead by example to create and maintain the work environment, culture, systems, and processes that align with the organisation's values, work health and safety standards, policies, legislative requirements, and practice pillars. Monitor, coach, support, inspire, and foster the professional growth of team members. Ensure compliance with Out of Home Care standards and contractual obligations for all children in care. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the Child, Youth, and Family program, focusing on systems and processes that enhance client outcomes. Manage risks and issues effectively during service delivery, ensuring adherence to relevant policies and procedures. Build and maintain strong working relationships with key external stakeholders, including accreditation bodies and partners. Collaborate with internal teams, including clinical, operations, and Cultural Support teams, to ensure high-quality service delivery, clinical governance, and effective human resource development and management. Skills & Experience Relevant tertiary qualifications in fields such as Human Services and Social Work. Significant experience in the management of programs and services in the areas of child protection or out of home care. Commitment to the care and protection of children and young people. Ability to work effectively within a complex, dynamic and high-volume environment. Demonstrated experience in team leadership and management.
