The Community Based Support Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Your opportunity To lead and manage Community Based Support Services to ensure effective clinical service delivery, operational systems and resource management, budget and risk management, governance and quality control, delivery of outcomes and Key Performance Indicators as designated within strategic and operational plans. To apply clinical and operational expertise to provide authoritative counsel to relevant stakeholders to influence the strategic direction of Community Based Support services within the MHHS. About the Team The Community Based Support Services encompasses the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT), Home Care Services (comprising both Home Care Packages and Mackay District Home Care service) and Community Health and Therapy Services (CHATS) (comprising Transition Care Program, Mobile Allied Health Team, Mackay Community Continence & Advisory Service and Community Based Rehabilitation Team). About our Hospital and Health Service Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
