Join the central agency for the Queensland Government for a once in a career opportunity as the head of our Constitutional Services team.As Manager, you will lead an experienced team to manage the activities of the Executive Council Secretariat and undertake and supervise arrangements for those matters under the Constitution of Queensland 2001 for which the Premier is responsible, including: the Office of the Governor; the swearing-in of new Ministers; the calling of elections; the Administrative Arrangements Order; and Pardons.We are looking for a people person skilled in team leadership, who is highly organised and with meticulous attention to detail. Leading the team to manage the Executive Council Secretariat and undertake and supervise arrangements for those matters under the Constitution of Queensland 2001 for which the Premier is responsible. Liaising and providing advice on the drafting of Executive Council Minutes (including legislative compliance) and Executive Council procedures. Securely managing constitutional records. What You'll Bring To The Role In this role, you will have a sound knowledge of constitutional and executive government processes or appropriate skills to be able to quickly obtain this knowledge.
