Your Role The purpose of the Manager Digital Products and Delivery role is ensuring successful delivery of new or updated products and services through effective leadership and collaboration within defined delivery cycles. Who Are We Looking For? Leadership Skills: The ideal candidate is responsible for leading the successful delivery of new and updated products and services, ensuring alignment with business objectives through effective leadership and collaboration. The position involves managing a designated product portfolio, including product families and continuous evaluation to add, enhance, or retire products. With a strategic focus, the role drives innovation by identifying new solutions, developing go-to-market plans, and ensuring products meet user needs and Sydney Water’s objectives, while maintaining technical quality standards, product strategy, and roadmaps. Additional Skills: The role oversees solution management, delivery performance, and third-level support for large/complex programs, ensuring adherence to value, quality, and innovation expectations. Leading a team of business analysts, product specialists, and technical experts, this role ensures on-time, on-spec, on-cost delivery of product features and enhancements. It is important that you have or can demonstrate: Manage and execute innovation pipelines, develop tools and resources and associated processes whilst monitoring emerging technologies and creating roadmaps to align organization strategies with new technology solutions. Manage and coordinate activities across programs, ensuring seamless transitions from proposal, initiation to the final operational stage, and overseeing benefits realization through the development of technical solutions. Develop forecasts and provide advice on financial planning, ensuring IT financial targets are met, whilst managing expenditure and analyzing variances. Assist in defining financial control processes, allocating IT costs, and recommending options for effective cost management and budget utilization. Identify and manage resources needed for the planning, development, and delivery of specified information, engaging senior stakeholders and project teams to ensure that the infrastructure supports agreed levels of service and data integrity. Involved in coaching and mentoring team members to foster career development and ensure continuous improvement in product delivery processes. Qualification and Experience Essential: The ideal candidate should have tertiary qualifications in information technology and/or equivalent industry experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret and implement complex initiatives, and be certified in PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner and ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation. Desirable: Master’s in Business Administration and/or Information Systems, Certification in Managing Successful Programmes – MSP. Applicants must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents.
