Department: Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action The Manager, District Operations is responsible for the operational delivery of District forest and fire management works, ensuring that resources meet required capability and all organisational standards for delivery are met. The position ensures field staff and Project Fire Fighters are managed across all workcentres in the district, maintaining the highest standard of workplace safety in a dynamic environment. The position also plays a key leadership role to ensure an environment free from discrimination and negative workplace behaviours so everyone can feel safe, valued and able to generate positive outcomes. Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications Experience in managing works programs in one or more of the following: planned burning, roading or forestry, including experience in management of operational delivery staff. Proven ability in implementing plans to achieve measurable outcomes. Qualification in Land Management and / or equivalent related experience. This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within the Goulburn District with hybrid work arrangements available.
