About the role Geelong Excavator Hire is seeking a motivated and experienced Manager / Driver to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our excavator hire business, as well as delivering our fleet of excavators and associated equipment to job sites across the Geelong region. What you'll be doing Overseeing the efficient and effective management of our excavator hire business, including scheduling, dispatch, and customer service Computer literacy important for invoicing clients, navigating emails and taking booking. Delivering our excavator fleet to job sites, ensuring safe and timely delivery and set-up Maintaining our excavators and other equipment to the highest standards of safety and functionality Providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with our clients Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations Analysing data and providing recommendations to improve our operations and customer satisfaction What we're looking for Minimum 2 years' experience within the construction or excavation industry Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients Some mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to maintain and repair excavators and other equipment Valid heavy vehicle driver's licence and experience driving large machinery Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Commitment to workplace health and safety About us Geelong Excavator Hire is a leading provider of excavation and earthmoving services in the Geelong region.
