Senior Manager - ESG & Sustainability Reporting About the Company Our client is a leading advisory and consulting firm in Sydney, specialising in corporate reporting and advisory services. They are dedicated to fostering growth and success, supporting both their clients' goals and their team's professional aspirations.You will play a crucial role in enhancing sustainability reporting frameworks and advising clients on ESG strategies, contributing directly to their strategic goals. Key Responsibilities Lead sustainability projects, including carbon footprint measurement, reporting readiness, and assurance. Develop proposals with a focus on scoping, planning, resourcing, budgeting, and billing. Conduct gap analyses on TCFD, IFRS S1, and IFRS S2 standards, and prepare climate and sustainability reports. Advise clients on finance-related and value-creating sustainable reporting and carbon footprint strategies. Deliver climate-related risk assessments, reporting strategies, and transformation roadmaps. Collaborate with the team to craft and execute bespoke ESG solutions for clients. Liaise with senior stakeholders to meet objectives and uphold the firm’s quality standards. Contribute to the ESG practice by creating external content and enhancing internal capabilities. Technical Skills & Qualifications CA or CPA qualified, with relevant tertiary education. Proven experience in accounting, financial reporting, or assurance. Strong background in climate, ESG, and sustainability reporting frameworks. Expertise in consulting, particularly in transformation, strategy, and project management. Exceptional project management, research, and presentation abilities. Outstanding communication skills with a strong capability to build and manage stakeholder relationships.
