Manager - Education and Care Unit - 977648 Department for Education, Children and Young PeopleDevelopment and Support Applications must be submitted by Sunday 02 March, 2025 11:55 PM AEST Award/Classification: Tasmanian State Service Award - General Stream Band 8$140,703 to $150,200 per annum Employment type: Fixed-term, full-time Region: South Manage the operations and resources of the Education and Care Unit, including provision of specialist support, high level advice, and the development of Unit strategic plans. Lead the administration of national and State legislation and build strong relationships with the early childhood education and care sector in Tasmania. This is a Department built entirely for children and young people and their communities. Duties Manage the operations and resources of the Education and Care Unit, including provision of specialist support, high level advice, and the development of Unit strategic plans. Lead the administration of national and State legislation and build strong relationships with the early childhood education and care sector in Tasmania. Period of Appointment ASAP Start date for 3 years Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1. Hours per fortnight 73.5 hours per fortnight Minimum Requirements Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment) Regulatory management, early childhood and/or other tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
