24 months full-time fixed-term contract (Part-time Considered) $133,991 - $141,543 (G09) pro-rata, plus 17% Superannuation Commencing immediately Job Reference: 8924437 Entrepreneurship and Commercialisation at Curtin: The Entrepreneurship and Commercialisation team at Curtin works with students, researchers, alumni, investors, and industry partners to inspire, start, and scale entrepreneurial pursuits. Curtin has a successful track record in the startup and scale-up of technology-based businesses. For over 13 years, it has provided training, expertise, infrastructure, and direct seed investment to such businesses. The entrepreneurship team seeks to develop a culture of entrepreneurship at Curtin, deliver entrepreneurship and commercialisation training, stimulate business startup, and facilitate the scale-up of ventures. About The Role: Our impact is growing, and we are seeking a dynamic and visionary individual who shares a deep passion to support founders, to join our talented and dedicated team. Key duties and responsibilities include: Program Management: design, deliver, and continuously improve our key entrepreneurship training programs including Curtin Accelerate, Curtin Ignition, Curtinnovation Awards, Entrepreneur in Residence, Kickstart+, and WestTechFest. Strategic Development: work closely with the Director, Entrepreneurship to develop and scale the Curtin Entrepreneurship pipeline of startups. Mentorship and Support: provide high-level advice and mentorship to Curtin entrepreneurs at all stages of the business lifecycle. Connect entrepreneurs to further opportunities and facilitate workshops to enhance entrepreneurial skills. Partnerships and Networking: build relationships with mentors, experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and the broader ecosystem. Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to support the delivery of programs and enhance their reach. Continuous Improvement: translate research into best practices, refining programs and structures to ensure impactful entrepreneurship education. Lead and support the development of project plans, schedules, impact measurement, and planning processes. Team Support: provide advice, guidance, and support to team members, internal stakeholders, and interns. Implement systems and processes to measure, update, and report on the impact of Curtin entrepreneurship programming. You will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role.
