What you will be doing Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Field Operations, Staffing and Support, you will be responsible for: Developing and implementing the temporary election workforce recruitment strategy for major events. Leading the recruitment of senior field roles to ensure a skilled staff pool for each electoral event. Maintaining election staffing procedures and supporting policy development. Managing a high-performing team to achieve organisational and personal development goals. What you will bring to the role As this is a unique opportunity, previous experience in a similar role is not expected. If you have a background in Human Resources and are a strong people leader and project manager, we'd love to hear from you. Experience managing HR matters such as bulk recruitment, selection, employee engagement, remuneration, and performance management. Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional verbal communication and stakeholder management. Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality business documentation. A degree in Human Resources or a relevant discipline would be desirable. Commitment to the VEC's core values.
