The Finance Procurement and Facilities Division is looking for someone who is a dynamic leader with professional expertise in governance and internal control processes who can achieve results and deliver outcomes for our stakeholders. Your Role Responsibilities include: Lead the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures and guidelines that comply with relevant legislation. Lead and oversee wide-ranging investigation and analysis activities to provide advice on the department's financial policies and procedures. Lead and develop new approaches to manage financial or internal control functions. Actively encourage the building of organisational capabilities and professional expertise within a team and across the department. About You: Good knowledge of governance and internal control requirements. Previous experience relevant to the role. Mandatory requirements: Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications required for this position, it would be highly desirable for the successful applicant to possess: a tertiary qualification in accountancy, commerce or business management. current membership with an accredited professional body, such as CPA Australia (Certified Practicing Accountants) or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
