The Opportunity In this position, you will support and work with the Assistant Director Financial Operations and Administration in ensuring our financial systems and end-user support functions are exemplary. This role is critical in ensuring compliance, meeting departmental business needs, and steering the section with both strategic direction and hands-on leadership. What you will do: Manage the provision of high-quality financial accounting services to the Department in accordance with the Financial Management Act 2006 , Treasurers’ Instructions, Accounting Standards, and departmental policies and procedures. Manage the taxation accounting and reporting requirements of the Department. What we are looking for: Technical Proficiency - Strong understanding of financial systems and end-user support functions, with the ability to drive improvements and resolve complex issues.
