Spinal Life Australia is a non-profit organisation that provides expert knowledge, specialist therapies and support tailored for people with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities. We are the largest provider of support services to people living with spinal cord injuries in Australia. We are seeking an experienced Manager - Funding, Administration & Contract Management to lead our funding team. In this role, you will oversee service delivery, financial management, and contract compliance while providing expert advice on funding sources, including the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland (NIISQ), and Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA). This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a professional with a strong background in administration, finance, and team management within a high-volume service environment. Permanent Full-time opportunity. What will I do? Lead and supervise a team of senior funding and administration officers. Oversee and continuously improve team processes and procedures. Provide specialist advice on funding conditions and liaise with external stakeholders. Monitor financial aspects of service delivery and ensure timely processing of funding data. Interpret funding conditions for all service delivery staff and liaise with relevant external stakeholders e.g. National Disability Insurance Agency, National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland, Department of Veterans Affairs. Ensure all exporting of financial data occurs as timetabled to ensure consistent cash flow. Maintain a good working knowledge of database management that ensures the accurate entering of funding arrangements into Carelink. What's needed to be successful? Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to work with speed and accuracy. Ability to be adaptable and flexible, and respond quickly to changing priorities and has the ability to work independently. Be a skilled relationship-builder with high-level interpersonal and communication skills. Strong financial administration skills and experience, including budget management. Experience with database systems and Windows Office applications (intermediate level). A customer service professional who is experienced at exceeding customer expectations.
