Direct message the job poster from World Wide Technology Senior Talent Acquisition, APAC at World Wide Technology Job Summary The Manager of Global Partner Management will lead and participate in a small regional team (as a part of a global team) to develop relationships with external partners for IT solutions as well as manage the quoting process for third-party professional services engagements. Essential Functions Provide regional oversight to ensure partner resources are in place and country specific plans are developed and executed to achieve regional outsourcing goals. Advise and support the business with Partner relationship & aggregated performance management. Central point of contact for dissemination of monthly Partner reporting to measure regional Partner Management and distribute to department heads. Understand specific Partner needs within the Technology delivery groups and the associated cost drivers affecting their areas of responsibility. Regular updates to global management, and other stakeholders as appropriate, of results and significant Partner activities. Conduct marketplace and supplier research as needed to make more informed decisions. Oversee Partner selection, due diligence and maintenance of Partner relationships and proactively identify new vendors for required service needs. Participate in developing policies, contractual business terms guidelines, and performance measures that are consistent with regulatory requirements. Collaborate on creating regional Partner evaluations/monitoring. Contribute to development of global score carding. Manage key supplier relationships on a country and regional level. Develop and maintain relationships with functional business areas to gather, analyze, and convey information to support solution area and sourcing efforts on a country or regional basis. Act as point of escalation for the region with Partners and represent the organization in Partner meetings. Create synergy across the organization’s Partner relationships. Manage sourcing requests for quotes from internal stakeholders on pipeline for sales. Education Bachelor's Degree Work Experience A minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in a related field. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Prior experience managing IT Partners, experience in Hardware, Software, Services and Staff Augmentation partner management. Provide advice and guidance to business partners and teams as appropriate regarding Partner Management best-practice to secure optimal value from third-party relationships. Ability to work collaboratively with, and to lead and motivate other employees in a team environment to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined timelines. Must be comfortable holding a lead position in a fast paced client facing environment. Demonstrated ability to manage relationships and people. Oversee 1-3 Partner Managers. Must have very strong analytical and reporting skills. Preferred to have experience in partner pricing methods, rate cards and pricing methodologies. Maximize compliance to the preferred partner list and minimize rogue spend. Ensure Partner issues are resolved on a timely basis & driving supplier innovation with budget holders. Demonstrable detailed understanding of key Partner and supply market dynamics of Professional Services Category. Demonstrable and proven track record of delivering cost savings, cost efficiencies, total cost of ownership improvement and continuous improvement. Work extensively with remote teams and Partners.
