As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and proactive Manager of Governance and Risk to lead our newly created Governance and Risk Service Area and play a pivotal role in shaping our risk and compliance strategies. Responsibilities Oversee, develop and enhance the Shire’s governance and risk management systems. Provide strategic governance and risk management advice to support the Shire. Implement efficient and effective information management practices across the organisation. You will be a detail-oriented leader with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills who thrives on a challenge and can foster collaboration across all levels of the organisation. In return for your commitment, knowledge, skills, experience and leadership we will negotiate a remuneration package up to $195,000. This will include salary, superannuation, motor vehicle allowance, professional development and telecommunications provisions as well as a range of benefits including 5 weeks annual leave, free parking and pool entry and complimentary wellness initiatives including skin cancer screening, annual flu vaccinations and ergonomic assessments.
