The Department is a central agency that leads the public sector in providing advice and support to the Premier and Cabinet in their service of the Western Australian Community. About the Role The Governance and Strategy Branch manages the Department's corporate governance and risk exposure. It provides a range of critical functions, including the oversight and coordination of the Department's governance, consideration of integrity matters, audit and risk management, business continuity planning, and performance reporting. It also oversees the monitoring and implementation of the strategic management framework. As a member of the State Services leadership team, the Manager, Governance and Strategy reports directly to the Assistant Director General, State Services, and leads the branch to provide high quality, innovative and timely services. The Manager is also responsible for providing strategic, proactive and objective advice to the Director General and other management on governance matters.
