About the role As part of the Ampol Group Strategy and Corporate Development team, you will play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives across the business. You will support the development, design, alignment and execution of the Group’s strategy and planning across divisions. Key Responsibilities: Strategic and analytical problem solving and analysis to inform and guide the development, monitoring, refresh and execution of overall group strategy. M&A support for inorganic growth opportunities, including creating and owning valuation models, financial analysis and insight and advice on material transactions. Provide timely and high-quality evaluations of strategic opportunities, including ad hoc commercial and strategic analysis. Develop and maintain a network of relevant relationships outside of Ampol to keep ahead of the curve on market trends. About you You will be an effective problem solver, overseeing the progress of multiple projects to build and deliver results. You will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and analysis methods, with the ability to work with financial statements and analysis to combine both strategic and financial insight into recommendations. Key skills and experience Tertiary qualification in business, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics or engineering Extensive experience in a top tier strategy consultancy, professional services, investment bank or corporate strategy team within an ASX environment Proven track record of playing a key role in strategy, M&A execution and / or complex commercial partnerships / investment Superior skills in strategic and financial analysis (advanced-level Excel & PowerPoint), and able to translate analysis into informed decision making Advanced project management, time management and prioritisation skills to drive significant workstreams / projects Our total remuneration is competitive.
