In this role, you'll: Working as part of the Customer Environment team, this role will see you manage and oversee the provision of consistent and high-quality cleaning services in relation to the presentation of Sydney Trains’ stations to deliver a first-class customer experience for the travelling public.As well as leading a front-line major cleaning team (Cleaning Flying Gang), you will also, through the management of cleaning contracts with a number of contracted suppliers, lead the Safety, People and Operational cleaning function of the Cleaning Services workforce across multiple sites.You'll be supporting an operationally challenging, busy and diverse workforce with transferable skills that could take you to a variety of leadership roles within operational areas within the business.This permanent position is available in a hybrid working model with flexibility to work in our Homebush/Liverpool based offices.Travel to suburban Train Stations and availability to be on call is a requirement of this role.Apply now with your cover letter and resume.About you Your previous experience managing a culturally diverse workforce over a large geographical footprint in a Heavy Cleaning operational, frontline environment and contract management experience will see you drive this key operational function which has a direct impact on customer experience.You will be highly agile, proactive with strong problem-solving skills, and driven by results.You will have demonstrated people management skills, solid operational experience with a sound understanding of financials to successfully drive the results of this integral, operational function.Who we are Transport for NSW provides a safe, integrated, and efficient transport system.
