We foster an inclusive workplace culture and will support you to grow and develop in your career while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.About Your Opportunity In the role of Manager (Indigenous Driver Licensing Program) you will provide strategic leadership and management of the Indigenous Driver Licensing Unit (IDLU); develop an extensive framework for stakeholder engagement; and assist with the development and implementation of actions aligned to the objectives of the Indigenous Driver Licensing Program. Some of your responsibilities will include: Develop strategic, business and financial plans for the IDLP to ensure the efficient, effective and timely delivery of products and services within a client-focused best practice and balanced budget environment, in consultation with the Manager (Road Safety). Liaise, negotiate and develop an extensive strategic framework for consultation, communication and business activities with communities, not-for-profit groups and industry, enabling the development of strong local partnerships with communities and integrated cross-agency collaboration to ensure products and services efficiently and effectively meet the needs of the client base. Oversee, lead and manage the operations of the IDLU within your area of responsibility, continually monitor performance standards and achievements of the team and take action to ensure effective operations are maintained. Provide a safe and healthy workplace through managing resources to ensure compliance with workplace health and safety and employee rehabilitation legislation, human resources practices, codes of practice, standards and departmental policy and procedures, participating in risk management and corrective action.
