We currently have the opportunity for a Manager, Infrastructure and Operations to join the Information Technology Digital Services team on an ongoing basis reporting to the Head of ITDS. The role is responsible for the support, management and maintenance of infrastructure, technology solutions, and digital services. About the Role This position is responsible for: Managing the day-to-day operations of ITDS support and ensure the availability and reliability of infrastructure and networks, manage technology vendors, and implement new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and productivity. Deliver, manage and support the relevant infrastructure, data, enterprise systems in compliance with agreed UTS College standards and policies and industry best practice. Supporting, managing and maintaining the ITDS portfolio of infrastructure, storage, integration platforms and end user services. Driving improvements to user experience through improving the application, standardisation and utilisation services and technology solutions. Supporting and managing IT infrastructure, operating platforms, systems and devices in accordance with agreed best practice standards and meet agreed service levels. Managing key performance indicators across infrastructure and operations, delivering on financial goals, and executing on initiatives designed to deliver continual improvement and scalability. About You To succeed in this role you must have: Minimum 5 years’ managing technical support teams including expertise in the following areas:Server and storage administration and support (Windows) Cloud technology administration and support (PaaS, IaaS) Network support and maintenance (including Wi-Fi) IT Security operations (firewall rule creation, Active Directory management) Degree qualification (postgraduate desired) in Information Technology or related, or relevant experience. Broad knowledge of infrastructure, enterprise applications, IT support and maintenance practices Demonstrated understanding and experience across the IT project management lifecycle, testing, and agile methodologies, resource estimating. Excellent collaboration and influencing skills, particularly working cross-functionally and with teams across the organisation High emotional intelligence, a growth mindset and excellent people leadership skills. Experience in managing a complex, busy corporate IT environment. Experience with or exposure to TOGAF, Agile, PRINCE2, ITIL 4. COBIT, ISO. Working knowledge of ITIL processes and practices.
