Within Retail Banking Services RBS – Customer Engagement & Digital (CE&D) team is responsible for leading our retail end-to-end digital-first customer experience strategy, driving innovation, improving customer engagement and creating new business opportunities through partnerships, ventures and the Group’s digital ecosystem. Within this Domain the CommBank Yello Crew is responsible for CBA’s industry leading customer recognition and rewards program (CommBank Yello). About CE&D Line 1 Risk Centre of Excellence (CoE): Our Line 1 Risk CoE collaborates closely with (CE&D) Crews to achieve strategic goals and reach and maintain an NPS of +30. We ensure comprehensive risk management by deeply understanding the business strategy, current processes, and obligations. By identifying and managing risks effectively, we provide valuable insights and prioritise improvements, ensuring all operational risk requirements are met. Our proactive approach enables us to offer advisory support, helping to design robust processes that minimize operational risks and drive business success. See yourself in our team: As a manager, you will be responsible for providing timely and pragmatic risk advice and guidance to your CommBank Yello stakeholders. On any given day, you will: Deliver pragmatic and informed risk advisory to contribute to the delivery of Customer Engagement & Digital and RBS strategic Objectives. Provide high quality Change Management Risk (CMRS) advice for initiatives delivered by the Crew, provide guidance/support to design optimal controls that will ensure safe delivery of the change. Manage and advise on all elements of non-financial risk framework to ensure risks, issues, incidents and breach reporting meet framework requirements and are of the highest quality to drive timely resolution, remediation and improvement to the risk profile. Assist our Crews in designing and embedding optimised process and control solutions. Uphold ethical conduct and compliance by understanding relevant regulatory obligations and ensuring we take reasonable steps to deliver quality customer outcomes. Role-model and drive a proactive risk management culture. Collaborate with the broader Risk community including other RBS L1 Risk COEs, RBS Controls and Customer Outcomes (CCO), L2 Operational Risk and Compliance. Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of risk capabilities within the team and across the Domain. We’d love to hear from you if you: Are a proactive self-starter with strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail. Have at least 5 years’ experience in banking/financial services/other relevant experience and/or minimum 3 years’ experience in Operational Risk management roles. Have experience in all aspects of Operational Risk and Compliance Management Framework (OMRF) including controls design and management, issue and incidents management, remediation, risk-in-change and Compliance Self-Assessment (CSA) which will be highly desirable. Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively. Have sound stakeholder management skills including the ability to build rapport at all levels and with senior stakeholders. Have ability to think critically/analytically and use data insights to solve problems, diagnose issues and recommend appropriate actions.
