Strategic, leadership position Permanent position, Band 1 Council Base salary of $149,178 plus super and generous allowances THE ROLE Reporting to the Director Advocacy and Strategy, the Manager Marketing will be responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of the City’s Strategic Marketing Plan including ensuring the City’s brand, reputation, advocacy framework and public engagement is upheld through a variety of engagement channels. Through strategic leadership, this role will increase the profile of the City from both an economic and community development perspective through proactive corporate communications. This position is located in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, with the potential to negotiate a hybrid working arrangement. REQUIREMENTS A media or communications specialist with team leadership experience and an innovative and proactive approach will be the ideal candidate for this role. Additionally, experience in a large, complex environment in the public sector or other regulatory organisation, combined with proven experience in implementing effective marketing or business communication strategies, is what the City needs at this pivotal time. A strategic mindset and the ability to work well under pressure and with competing priorities will ensure achievement in this role. THE PACKAGE A competitive total reward package is on offer on permanent contract, comprising of $149,178 base salary (negotiable) plus superannuation as well as motor vehicle allowance of $15,000, relocation allowance and transitional housing in accordance with City guidelines.
