As the Manager of Mental Health Services (MHS), you will take the lead in shaping and delivering vital services that empower individuals and communities. Reporting to the Senior Executive Community Services, you’ll oversee operations, lead strategic initiatives, and ensure excellence across all aspects of mental health service provision. This is more than a management role, it’s a chance to advocate, innovate, and create lasting change in the mental health space. In this role, you and your team will: Work together to deliver consumer-centred mental health services that promote independence and community integration. Develop and implement strategic plans that reflect the needs of consumers and align with national mental health standards. Collaborate with government and non-government partners to build strong networks and advocate for consumer rights. Manage financial resources effectively, ensuring transparency and accountability in budgeting and reporting and KPIs. Co-create innovative programs by engaging with consumers, staff, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth. Support a culture of continuous improvement by fostering teamwork, learning, and professional development. What’s in it for you? What you’ll bring to the role: A degree in Social Sciences or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience in a similar role. Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams and creating positive workplace cultures. Proven expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and service evaluation. A deep understanding of the National Community Mental Health Standards and statutory requirements and Lived Experience Frameworks. Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and advocacy skills. Demonstrated success in preparing tenders, securing grants, and building partnerships. A current SA Driver’s Licence, DHS Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check. Ready to apply?
