As Manager – Operations Support , you will play an instrumental role in our customer and employee experience as you lead and develop the capability of our Scheduling, Customer Contact, Home and Garden Services, Facilities Maintenance and Minor Home Modifications teams. In leading the delivery of these key services and new strategic initiatives you will be responsible for enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness, and best practices of the Business Operations team. This opportunity is available on a permanent full-time basis (Monday to Friday), with flexibility for hybrid work arrangements that include working at our Suncare Maroochydore office and from home. Occasional travel to our regional offices between Rockhampton and Brisbane will be required. More about the role Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, you will: Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations Enhance operational quality and efficiency through process, procedure and service improvements Develop and mentor team leaders, providing guidance and training Manage the implementation of Business Operations strategic initiatives, aligned with Suncare's priorities Manage team performance for the achievement of targets and KPIs Resolve escalated issues and manage resource allocation Report on operational performance and contribute to long-term planning Ensure accurate process documentation and collaboration with other teams What you will bring to our team In addition to your demonstrated experience of fostering a workplace culture of excellence and high performance through inspirational leadership, you will champion our values and be a resilient and adaptable professional passionate about continuous improvement. You will also possess: A qualification in Business, Management, or relevant field Significant experience in an operations management role responsible for large multi-function teams, supported with knowledge and experience in people management, engagement, and development Demonstrated ability to manage and support teams through organisational change Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, and proven ability to communicate, collaborate and negotiate effectively with varied stakeholders An ability to be self-directed and highly organised to work autonomously, under pressure and hold oneself accountable to achieve targets and deadlines An ability to keep abreast of industry knowledge including relevant Government funding, guidelines, and legislation Willingness to travel as required (Rockhampton to Brisbane) and support weekend on-call SIRS arrangements (one weekend per each 6 or 8 weeks) What we offer At Suncare our people really are our greatest asset.
