As the Manager, People & Culture Partnerships, you’ll report to the Chief, People & Culture and guide a dedicated team to deliver strategic initiatives that empower our people and enhance organisational effectiveness. In this role, you will lead transformative initiatives that drive people management, workplace culture, and organisational design across diverse teams. Partner with leaders to develop innovative workforce strategies that boost employee engagement and effectiveness. Shape policies and practices that align with the City’s vision of inclusivity, sustainability, and social justice. What you will do: Lead and mentor a skilled team of People & Culture professionals. Partner with divisions to deliver advice and solutions on workforce planning, industrial relations, and organisational improvement. Design and implement change strategies that reflect the City’s commitment to its people. Use data-driven insights to identify trends, recommend strategies, and guide impactful decisions. We're looking for someone with: Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field. Proven experience in delivering high-quality HR services in complex organisations. Strong expertise in workforce reform, organisational design, and industrial relations. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, enabling you to build trust and influence at all levels. This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month. The recommended applicant must complete a pre-employment health declaration and a criminal history check.
