The Role We currently have an opportunity to join our Pricing and Insurance Sustainability team as a Manager, Pricing Enablement in a permanent position. This opportunity is open to work from our North Sydney office in conjunction with our hybrid work from home options. The purpose of this role is to support the Head of Enablement and Sustainability to ensure that the core pricing teams have appropriate process, governance and tools in place to enable their core pricing work. This role will lead the design and execution of any required development in the tools and processes employed by the core pricing teams to improve efficiency, reduce operational risk and improve pricing optimization. Your responsibilities will include: Leading the design and implementation of pricing process uplift initiatives, ensuring they are market leading and achieve desired business objectives. Developing detailed business cases for process enhancements, including cost-benefit analyses, when required. Effectively communicate all process and tool changes to relevant parties, including conducting training sessions and change management support. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the quality and accessibility of data essential for the Pricing team to perform their tasks efficiently. Research and introduce industry best practices and modern technologies that can optimize process and improve operational efficiency. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and promote innovative solutions. Ensuring documentation for Individual and Group Pricing tools and processes are fit for purpose, up to date and compliant with MLCL pricing governance requirements. About you Qualifications and Skills: Relevant tertiary qualification or appropriate business experience All necessary mandatory risk and compliance training Specific Skills: Proficiency in Python and R for scripting, automation and data manipulation. (Mandatory) Experience in SQL or any other coding languages. Experience with cloud based data warehouse and platform solutions. Experience in leading process improvements and modernization initiatives. Minimum of 10 years industry experience with knowledge of the life insurance and wealth management industry.
