In the role of Manager (Procurement Policy and Planning) you will contribute to this vision by leading the identification, review and implementation of procurement policy and capability, process, templates and initiatives in response to internal customer feedback, leveraging technologies and automation where possible. You will also foster and influence stakeholder relationships including internal clients, suppliers, industry and public-sector bodies to ensure TMR procurement policies and business improvements initiatives are optimised and fit for purpose.Some Of Your Responsibilities Will Include: The development, implementation and ongoing management of a single procurement framework in TMR, specific to TMR's centre led, locally delivered procurement model. Lead the review and improvement procurement policy, process, templates, tools and SharePoint site, in response to internal customer feedback, leveraging technologies and automation where possible. Work with the Director (Procurement Strategy) to continually improve TMR's procurement governance environment, including the integration of governance and controls to better support accountability, probity, consistency, transparency and risk management. Actively develop and manage the team's program of work in collaboration with the Director (Procurement Strategy) to ensure expected program outcomes are quality assured and delivered on time. Lead, foster and influence stakeholder relationships including internal clients, suppliers, industry, and public-sector bodies to ensure TMR procurement policies and business improvements are optimised and fit for purpose. Lead the development of DG and Ministerial correspondence requests, as well as manage internal customer requests. Work across team and organisational boundaries to continuously inform and improve a customer centric, centre-led, locally enabled procurement operating model for TMR. Lead the development and delivery of strategic planning and forward pipelines for procurement, internal business planning and best practice scanning for the Chief Procurement Office. Lead the development and implementation of capability strategy and capability development initiatives. Lead the responses to Internal Audit and Queensland Audit Office procurement recommendations through utilising the procurement business and governance environment. Manage and monitor various risk and compliance treatments and strategies, including the effectiveness of activities and tools. Adopt project management methodologies to drive and measure outcomes.
