Job Description

The QCAA is seeking a Manager to join the Program Management Unit. The Manager, Program Management is responsible for the delivery of multiple work programs, operational activities and services.What You Will Do In the Manager role, you will: Monitor and analyse progress in the achievement of strategic objectives by providing expert high-level advice and recommendations in relation to major initiatives, status, risks, issues and implications for the Strategy, Planning and Corporate Support Division and more broadly QCAA. Oversee the design, development and implementation of systems required for service delivery and ensure a focused and determined approach is maintained. Plan and lead the delivery of operational activities and services by developing processes and procedures to meet the ongoing and future needs of QCAA and external partners. Manage the delivery of multiple programs of work by setting priorities, providing guidance and allocating resources in a large multi-disciplinary operational team. Ensure successful integration of activities is achieved (across QCAA) within timeframes, budget and to quality standards. Identify potential barriers to achieving outcomes, manage negotiation of major issues, develop proposals and make recommendations to mitigate high risk elements. Identify stakeholder needs, build productive relationships and provide high level leadership to ensure engagement, communication strategies and activities are developed, planned, coordinated, implemented and evaluated to meet agreed outcomes. Ensure the work of the unit is complimentary to the roles and responsibilities of other units engaged in linked activities for seamless delivery of outcomes. Be responsible for the governance and delivery of sustainable and secure information and communications by ensuring appropriate management frameworks and supporting strategies are developed, implemented and reviewed to support achievement of outcomes.
