Your Team The Regulatory Affairs team sits within the Group Risk and Compliance function and is responsible for addressing regulatory risk within the business across both the implementation of new law and regulatory requirements and also in ensuring Hollard has productive, effective and timely interactions with our regulators. The Team works collaboratively across all areas of the Hollard business and maintains a trusted advisor role to assist the business in meeting its regulatory requirements. The Role The Regulatory function is responsible for Hollard’s engagement with its regulators across reporting,interactions (such as meetings) and responses. Responsibilities include: Advise business units on appropriateness of responses to regulators and the provision of relevant information. Coordinate and oversee all responses to regulators to ensure consistent One Hollard voice. Ensuring the timeliness of responses to regulators (including breach reporting) to ensure we meet regulatory timelines for reportability. Tracking of commitments made to regulators and ensuring we meet the committed timeframes for delivery. Preparation and recording of all meetings with regulators and ensuring action items are managed. About You Demonstrated experience in legal, insurance and/or financial services industries (general insurance experience strongly preferred). General knowledge of laws that relate to general insurance product issue and distribution in both Australia and New Zealand. Understanding of APRA prudential standards, Corporations Act and Regulations, Insurance Contracts Act, General Insurance Code of Practice and New Zealand. Sound Excel and PowerPoint skills, ability to convert relevant data into information digestible by business stakeholders.
