About the role: The Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing is seeking a Manager, Sector Capability to lead the design of the Collaborative Centre's future workforce capability operating model. Reporting to the Director, the Manager, Sector Capability will work closely with the broader research team to deliver a public learning and engagement program. Accountabilities Supporting the design and finalisation of the Centre's first Workforce Education and Development Strategy. Leading a collaborative process to establish and deliver the workforce education and development operating model. Designing and coordinating workforce education and development programs in line with the Collaborative Centre's Strategic Plan 2024-2027. Developing processes to ensure meaningful engagement of those with lived experiences. Applying a strong understanding of the strategic context to all work. Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation and guidelines. Providing authoritative advice and innovative solutions to complex issues. Delivering initiatives that meet the Board and Collaborative Centre's objectives. Monitoring and reporting on high priority issues and preparing reports and briefs. Qualifications / Specialist Expertise Experience working with individuals with lived experience of mental ill-health is preferable. A tertiary qualification in mental health, social sciences, health administration, or public health is desirable. Expert knowledge relating to effective workforce education and development in mental health or related sectors.
