Manager, Safety and Security SNSW Grade 11/12 1 x Ongoing Full-Time Location: Haymarket, Parramatta, or Gosford About the Role: As the Manager Safety and Security, you will organise and oversee all security operations across Service NSW to ensure a safe and secure work environment for all employees. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include leading the implementation of all operational and technical aspects of security operations, including resolution of breaches and investigations, developing and delivering the security technology asset maintenance and improvement program, leading all procurement initiatives, and implementing robust governance frameworks with approved Service NSW contractors, Senior and Executive Leaders, and other business partners. You will also lead the implementation and practical adherence to work health and safety obligations and initiatives in partnership with the Service NSW safety team across the agency, whilst proactively contributing to the development of sound safety and security policies and procedures. Lead a team through effective leadership. About the Team: The Safety and Security Operations team at Service NSW is dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our customers, staff, and infrastructure. Our team plays a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment through the coordination and delivery of contracted security services, as well as the implementation of comprehensive safety and security policies and procedures. About You: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Operational Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, with extensive experience in leading and developing teams across a multi-site, geographically dispersed portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Hold a current motor vehicle driver licence and be willing to travel throughout the state as required. Obtain a National Security Check successfully. Be available to work outside normal hours during serious safety and security incidents. Manage CCTV, access control, and other electronic security solutions. Lead and develop teams in a Senior Leadership role. Implement procurement and contract management practices within a government agency. Ensure adherence to security rules and manage work health and safety hazards. Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in safety and security risk management or equivalent experience. Demonstrated extensive experience as a Senior Operational Manager. Strong commitment to the security and safety of employees.
