Manager, Security Governance Job number: 798158 Primary position location: VIC- Melbourne CBD Category: Information, Communication & Technology Work type: External Work type: Permanent Full time Closing at: Feb 21 2025 at 23:55 AEDT In this role you’ll have responsibility across NAB Group and its subsidiaries for governance and oversight of all current security related obligations; security risks and regulatory and compliance requirements; ongoing compliance with security frameworks and standards; the security governance operating model; and associated reporting and proactive management. In the role of Manager, Security Governance, you will: Maintain, implement and mature security standards and frameworks including accountabilities, roles and responsibilities across Group and subsidiaries, aligned to industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and NAB’s risk appetite Be the primary and central point of engagement into Group Security for security related governance and metrics, including measurement and reporting, primarily at executive and board level Consult on future compliance requirements and help embedding these into BAU Monitor and ensure ongoing compliance with security frameworks, standards and good security governance practices Act as the Product Owner for security governance dashboards Implement associated reporting and proactive management to ensure continuous compliance, via engagement with relevant teams internal/external to Group Security Support the development and ongoing monitoring of Group-wide information security metrics to measure information security risk, including driving development of quantification methodologies and practices Mature the governance of security across the enterprise Continuously uplift the maturity of people, process, tools related to security governance; drive and enhance security risk awareness and culture Build, inspire and continuously grow a high performing global team of security governance and risk professionals, set strategic direction, and prioritise governance efforts based on organisational goals and risk priorities. What you will bring: 7+ years’ experience in security leadership or complimentary discipline Prior experience in the financial industry, preferably within a similar role, to understand the unique challenges and requirements of securing financial institutions Demonstrated experience in cyber risk quantification and measurement Proven track record of working with business stakeholders and complex business issues Experience in integrating complex processes and security solutions Experience implementing similar functions in large, complex, regulated organisations Strong business engagement and development experience, with significant stakeholder relationship management Track record of experience operating and delivering consistent results in a large complex business Proven experience influencing senior leaders across strategic & operational outcomes.
