Overview: Full-time, Continuing Salary HEW 9 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, however, may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University About You The Manager of Student Lifecycle plays a vital role in leading and managing services that support students and elevate the various College departments. This influential position is essential for fostering a culture of service excellence, inspiring the Student Lifecycle team to implement impactful improvements that enhance student satisfaction and streamline College processes, creating a seamless student experience. In this role, the Manager will oversee the management, implementation, and effective utilization of student administration systems while resolving student issues and inquiries and ensuring compliance with College policies and procedures. This position also delivers crucial administrative and project support to the College’s teaching staff and students. Furthermore, the Manager of Student Lifecycle must engage collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders, providing expert guidance on the implementation of university protocols, policies, and procedures. By strategically allocating resources and partnering closely with RMIT Connect, this role will ensure that service levels not only meet but surpass expectations, resulting in an outstanding Vocational Education (VE) student experience. To be successful in this position, you’ll have: Demonstrated management skills with extensive experience in providing high-level support, advice and stakeholder engagement within a large complex organisation. High level knowledge of L&T/student administration policies and procedures including demonstrated successful experience in policy and process development, process simplification, implementation and review. Ability to manage and provide leadership, both as a team manager and as a change agent within a large organisation. Demonstrated conceptual, planning and organisational skills with the proven ability to lead projects, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a demanding environment. Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills including complaint handling, building and maintaining effective working relationships with a wide range of internal and external groups for mutual benefit. Expertise in the areas of change management, quality management and project management. Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualification and extensive relevant experience in leading teams and projects.
