An opportunity has become available to join the team in Subsidence Advisory NSW for a Manager Subsidence Evaluation & Regulation. Subsidence Advisory NSW is an energetic team supporting property owners living in areas where subsidence may occur. This role will see you apply your managerial, project management and technical skills within a small team of specialists leading the technical division. About the Role: You will lead and manage a team of engineers and mapping experts in their assessment of subsidence matters across NSW. This role involves regulating the mine subsidence function in processing development applications and conditions to ensure compliance and best practice is adhered to. You will also lead projects to rapidly respond to subsidence events and meet both current and future needs of the community. Essential Criteria: Experience in leading and managing a successful team of technical staff Strong project management skills Tertiary qualifications in Structural/Civil/Mining/Geotechnical Engineering Proven experience in engineering, mining, building or construction Full NSW drivers’ license is essential What We Need From You: To start your journey towards becoming our Manager Subsidence Risk Evaluation & Regulation please attach your resume (max 5 pages) and cover letter (max 2 pages) .
