We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Manager Technical Authority to join our Networks team in Thomastown VIC, Eagle Farm QLD or Kidman Park SA, on a Permanent fulltime basis. Reporting to the Head of Engineering and Planning, Networks, this leadership role manages a team of highly skilled professionals, ensuring that the required standards are applied to all operational and project activities, deliver business improvement initiatives and meet APA's quality and assurance frameworks. Key Responsibilities Oversee the development of initiatives and improvement programs for the Networks Group Foster a culture of innovation within the technical authority team Lead technical standard application and overarching authority to manage engineering in Networks Collaborate with other teams across Engineering and Planning, Capital Delivery, Procurement and Operations to deliver complete solutions Implement and monitor various business KPIs, including process safety Change management and keep up to date with changes in industry and best practices Your background Tertiary qualification in engineering with extensive experience in managing technical practices and teams Strong knowledge of application of technical standards and practices Well-developed leadership and stakeholder management skills and drives optimisation and delivers quality outputs Project management and change management expertise Ability to foster innovation and ensure quality assurance. About the Networks Team Networks manages and operates transmission pipelines and local distribution networks that deliver gas to around 1.4 million households and businesses across Australia. This is an exciting time for the Networks team, we are growing and expanding with many new projects, including 2032 Olympics.
