See yourself in our team: The Technology Procurement team supports technology to deliver leading practice procurement. Group Procurement manages all activities across the procurement lifecycle, namely: Requirements gathering & strategy – identify opportunities to add value to the business Execution & negotiation – establish the best commercial deals for CBA Implement & transition Performance & governance – ensure maximum value is created from our external relationships Do work that matters: This role reports into the EM - IT Services and as a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for procurement across IT Services, leading the delivery of ICT Services. This role will support all stakeholders within the Bank accessing IT Services and working closely with key Services vendors across the Bank to deliver on new and renewals of existing services engagements across CBA. Your responsibilities will include managing the end-to-end category lifecycle and will include: Responsibility for multiple partners and may operate either horizontally (along a value chain) or vertically (managing like services from multiple partners). Manage a team of Supplier Partners and Associates responsible for the daily operational engagement with a supplier. Work with Risk & Compliance to ensure suppliers are complying with all contracted responsibilities. Take the lead in continuous improvement opportunities to improve the processes within the team and Suppliers. Ensure savings and realised benefits are clearly defined, agreed and recorded by the procurement team. Interact directly with the Technology Leadership Team and business leaders to develop, manage and execute the agreed procurement strategies. Advocate compliance to Bank-wide and Procurement processes and technology. We're interested in hearing from people who have: Previously demonstrated procurement management experience and managing IT Services vendors in a complex environment. Experience in large organisations with complex environments, achieving and being accountable for tangible commercial results. Experience in delivering quality outputs within tight timeframes within a standardised project management framework and structured procurement approach. Understanding of leading practice procurement technology. Commercial and contract negotiation skills and experience. Ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and deliver quality outputs within tight timeframes while working collaboratively with customers and suppliers.
