As the driving force behind our Townsville operation, you will manage a team of 200+ and 136 buses to provide a critical transport service to the people of Townsville and Magnetic Island, getting them where they need to be. You'll be an important member of the local community, building and maintaining relationships, and driving local recruitment programs such as our Women Up Front and Moving the Mob programs. Based at our fully renovated Garbutt depot, you’ll also get to lead the delivery of huge pipeline of network improvements over the coming years. what will I do? lead the operations of Kinetic's Townville business, ensuring people get where they need to go safely and on time foster a strong customer-first culture and proactively address client needs manage people, buses and rosters, adhering to various guidelines and regulatory requirements support and drive local recruitment and people development programs including Women Up Front and Moving the Mob build and maintain relationships within the Townsville community drive safety and support incident responses, compliance and investigations work closely with the Workshop team to ensure vehicles are well maintained, presented and available for service what will I bring We are looking for an accomplished leader who: has a good knowledge of the Townsville area and connections within the community is a strong people leader, with demonstrated experience in building high performing teams possesses knowledge and experience in logistics (although this is not essential) is self-motivated with an enthusiastic approach to day-to-day business operations demonstrates strong computer literacy MS Office, and ability to learn internal systems We don’t mind if you have experience in our industry or a similar service-focused industry.
