The Opportunity CliniKids is The Kids Research Institute’s first team to integrate world-class research with a clinical service. CliniKids is a unique integration of early intervention services, innovation, and research for children on the autism spectrum. We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Manager, Training & Education to join our growing team! This position will be responsible for leading the Training and Education Programs and Knowledge Dissemination by building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships including healthcare professionals, the education sector, and the wider community. This role is focused on building CliniKids’ external profile and success as a major provider of evidence-based training in autism supports. Some of the responsibilities include: Oversight and management of CliniKids Training arm, including community education and events and leadership of these within the strategic objectives of CliniKids. Analyse trends in training programs and identify new opportunities to further enhance CliniKids’ training profile and revenue stream. Oversee logistics for training delivery, including risk insurance, occupational health and safety, publicity, contractual legal obligations. Financial oversight including development and implementation of budgets and maintaining accurate financial documentation. Establish and maintain relationships through effective communication to engage stakeholders and project team members, to ensure successful outcomes of the program. Support the professional development of staff through coaching, mentoring, training and collaboration opportunities. Based in our offices in Subiaco, this position will be offered on a full-time basis. About You This position will suit a candidate that has previous experience in a similar role within the autism and disability sector. The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience: A strategic and practical thinker and planner with sound analytical skills. Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design. Strong organisational and project management abilities. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a large multidisciplinary team. Excellent organisational skills, with flexibility and ability to set priorities and meet deadlines under pressure. Excellent written and oral communications skills. The successful candidate will be asked to provide a Working with Children’s Check and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance prior to commencement.
