You know that to make a meaningful contribution to our community and economy, there needs to be diligence in our operations.In this role, you'll: Work as a leader within our Customer & Service Planning team to deliver sound transport planning outcomes, craft technical responses to planning queries and drive integration of transport scope into the Greater Sydney transport network. You will be leading a team in the development of responses to transport challenges, shaping inputs and scope, and leading stakeholder consultation and interface across Transport for NSW and externally. You will be the lead point of contact for management of a number of high-priority business case tasks, including development of a transport strategy, interchange scoping and layouts, and business case chapter inputs. This is a fixed-term opportunity up to 14 months. About you You are an experienced transport planner with a background in Urban Planning, Transport Planning, Engineering or a related discipline. You also have experience working in and/or with Transport for NSW.You have an in-depth understanding of project and contractor management, and are able to deliver on Transport planning objectives and shape better transport outcomes for the project and Sydney’s public transport network.You are a strong communicator and are able to effectively lead and resolve stakeholder issues across a wide number of interfaces, as well as coordinating clear-cut inputs for business case development.Who we are Transport for NSW provides a safe, integrated, and efficient transport system.
