About the role The Manager Tribunal and Review Boards (Registrar) provides management and direction to the administrative team that supports the Prisoners Review Board (PRB), Supervised Release Review Board (SRRB) and the Mental Impairment Review Tribunal (MIRT). The position also discharges the statutory functions of the Registrar of the PRB and the MIRT as well as those of the Registrar of Transferred Parole Orders. The position also exercises all the delegated powers as the Minister’s Delegate under section 12(1) of the Parole Orders (Transfer) Act 1984 . Whilst the position sits within the Court and Tribunal Services Division of the Department, the incumbent engages extensively with staff within the Corrective Services Division of the Department whilst providing support to the President (MIRT) and Chairperson (PRB and SRRB) and members of the Boards and Tribunals. To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
