Manager Vehicle and Governance Assurance We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to head our Vehicle and Governance Assurance function. This exciting role is perfect for a manager with experience in overseeing the daily operations of the Vehicle and Governance Assurance Section. In this key position, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating audit and assurance programs, as well as developing mitigation strategies, principles, and methodologies to address risks. You will also develop, implement, and manage business processes and systems that meet operational requirements and standards. Additionally, you will establish and manage a governance and leadership framework related to Vehicle and Governance Assurance. This role requires a strategic thinker who leads by example and has the ability to manage, coach, and mentor a highly experienced and dedicated team. You must be able to work under pressure and handle sensitive matters in a procedurally fair and equitable manner. You will need to interpret and apply legislation to make effective and compliant decisions that withstand scrutiny. There is currently one (1) permanent position available for immediate filling. The successful applicant or applicants assessed as suitable through this process may receive further offers of employment (fixed term or permanent) in this or similar roles for a period of twelve (12) months from date of first appointment. About you Shape and drive strategic and tactical business plans. Exemplify personal integrity and self-awareness. Cultivate strong, productive working relationships and partnerships. Communicate and influence at a senior level with a range of stakeholders including industry and government bodies. Provide high level advice to the Directors. Operate within the Department's Corporate Governance Framework, policies and procedures. Lead by example by being positive, flexible and adaptable to identify and meet evolving business needs.
