About the opportunity: Position: Manager, Workplace Health and Safety Vacancy: Permanent full-time Location: Health, Safety and Wellbeing, People, Strategy and Governance, THHS This role leads and manages the delivery of high-quality health safety and wellbeing services across the Townsville HHS, to facilitate effective implementation and maintenance of the Queensland Health, Health Safety and Wellbeing Management System (HSMS). The role applies specialist health, safety and wellbeing knowledge and understanding of governance, planning, consultation, and risk management processes to a range of work health and safety matters, injury prevention, rehabilitation and return to work with a particular focus on ensuring and maintaining safe work environments across the Townsville HHS. The role operationally leads and manages the resources, systems and processes required to deliver a positive safety culture and performance across the HHS. As a specialist health and safety expert the role engages and collaborates with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, including training and professional development services to build workplace health and safety capability across the HHS. Your contributions will be valued and impactful. Enjoy a generous remuneration package valued up to $166,569 p.a., including: Salary range: $136,035 to $145,990 p.a.
