The Manager of Operations assists, improves and enables the processes and systems used by all staff in the delivery of ANA's purpose of promoting and advancing the positive effects of arts, culture and creative activity in contemporary Australian society. Key Responsibilities The Manager of Operations is responsible for the following duties: Plan, enable and improve all processes, systems and platforms used by staff. Direct operational and training procedures and other relevant resources that enable staff to deliver program outputs. Assist in tracking, evaluation and reporting of program impact. Coordinate the delivery of timely quarterly and annual reporting to internal stakeholders. Control and update key organisational collateral. Assist with the implementation and support of the Philanthropic Partner program. Be available to provide all staff with administrative and logistical support. Support the delivery of change management processes. Respond to all administrative and logistical tasks efficiently and effectively. Contribute to organisational and industry leadership and culture. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be: Skilled in administrative and logistical processes, systems and platforms used by policy, research and engagement-focused organisations. Invigorated by ANA’s vision of Australia being a cultural powerhouse whose creativity is locally loved, nationally valued and globally influential. Pragmatic, energetic, hopeful and ready to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. Selection Criteria Essential criteria Qualification or equivalent experience in business administration. Demonstrated experience in providing high-level administrative and logistical support. High level interpersonal and relationship management skills, including a proven ability to discern, communicate, present to and negotiate with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Comfortable with learning and using new technologies and systems, including those for developing and maintaining relationships remotely. Desirable criteria Experience and networks in some or all of the philanthropy, government, business, cultural and creative industries, and for-purpose/social impact sectors. Knowledge of arts and cultural policies and organisations in Australia. Experience in small team environments. Other competencies and attributes An understanding of, and commitment to, the non-partisan nature of ANA’s work. Ability to pay close attention to detail in a dynamic environment. Well-organised and anticipates next steps. A collaborative, non-territorial style, to achieve outcomes. Bias for quality and action, with a focus on completion.
