Join our team in Sydney as a Manager or Senior Manager (Associate Director) for Turnaround and Restructuring Strategy (TRS) at EY. In this role, you'll collaborate with a diverse clientele, including lenders, investors, and corporations, providing them with innovative solutions to their most challenging financial, strategic, and operational issues. You'll be an integral part of a global, multidisciplinary team, expanding your expertise across various industries and regions. In this role you will: Collaborate with the national TRS team on leading insolvency projects, both large and medium in scale. Engage in restructuring and turnaround initiatives, including early intervention efforts like independent business evaluations, safe harbour consultations, assessments of financial sustainability, counterparty examinations, and liquidity analyses. Pursue your interests within specific sectors with the encouragement of the senior leadership team, seizing chances to broaden your knowledge and skills. Work alongside other teams within Strategy and Transactions, including Debt Advisory, Transaction Diligence, Valuations and Business Modelling, Real Estate Advisory, Infrastructure Advisory, and Mergers & Acquisitions, to deliver optimal solutions for our clients. What we’re looking for Possess a degree in commerce, economics, or law (or a similar qualification). Bring 5 to 10 years of relevant experience with a solid history of high performance in restructuring/advisory work either on behalf of creditors or distressed companies. Either already have or be prepared to obtain the ARITA (Australian Restructuring, Insolvency and Turnaround Association) certification. Have a talent for both numerical and descriptive analysis, and be enthusiastic about contributing positively to our community.
