Title and Summary Managing Consultant/Senior Business Analyst, Advisors Program Management The Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing help to our customers to grow. This team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base. We combine traditional management consulting with our rich data assets and in-house technology to provide our clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, test-and-learn business experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services. Advisors Program Management is an execution-oriented client-facing competency that applies proven, accredited change skills and domain experience to partner with clients and help them drive measurable value by: Developing new products and strategies to market smoothly and efficiently Successfully implementing complex technology assets and delivering the most challenging transformation programs to create the new business as usual Strengthening client’s internal skills, knowledge, and experience in critical areas Transforming client processes and optimizing their management practices As a Managing Consultant, you will support a portfolio of projects that support a strategy, a strategic change, or initiative with significant impact on the organization. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team. You’ll be responsible for leading requirements gathering, analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, developing strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity, and ensuring the successful delivery of key business initiatives. All About You Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. Lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements for new and existing systems, applications, and processes. Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. Develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future states. Propose and design technical and process solutions that meet business needs and objectives. Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders and executives. Create detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, and solutions. Collaborate with the development team to configure the platform and create solutions. Provide detailed business analysis support to build robust solutions with a great user experience. Proficient in using data analysis tools and business intelligence software. Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL and knowledge of API orchestration is a plus. Participate in testing and validating new systems and processes to meet business requirements. Experience with Agile ways of working and/or as a scrum master is a plus. Effectively leverage subject matter experts to develop customized solutions for clients. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, able to direct workstreams across large multi-faceted project teams. Strong writer, presenter, and speaker, comfortable and able to influence at all levels in an organization. Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to frame the customer’s opportunity in financial terms. Able to use own initiative, develop solutions, or adapt approaches to support the delivery of defined objectives and benefits. Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure stakeholder alignment. Assist in the creation of training materials, user guides, and documentation for end-users. Provide post-implementation support, ensuring the smooth transition of solutions into production. Able to multi-task in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment. All About Your Education & Skills Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification. Advanced degree or MBA preferred. Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or related certifications preferred. 7+ years of experience in business analysis or a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Experience with business process modeling and documentation tools. Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. Exposure specifically in payments and/or retail banking or merchants preferred. Comfortable with significant client interaction and interest in building relationships. Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required, knowledge of Project Management tools preferred. Proficiency in tools such as MS Visio, JIRA, and Confluence. Knowledge of data architecture, database management, and experienced with a wide array of data analytics tools and technologies will be advantageous. Willingness to travel.
