About the Role Are you ready to make an impact in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry? We're seeking a talented and driven Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in our manufacturing processes. As an integral part of our company, you'll oversee the design, management, and development of systems, processes, machinery, and materials to efficiently convert raw materials into high-quality consumer products. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your key responsibilities will include: Design Enhancement: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency through innovative machine tooling design and plant/equipment component designs. Technical Support: Providing hands-on expertise in troubleshooting and resolving machine, mechanical, and PLC-related issues promptly. Project Management: Leading continuous improvement projects to increase plant efficiency and reduce operational costs, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. Documentation and Compliance: Developing and maintaining standards and documentation for installations, modifications, and quality control procedures, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and safety standards. Testing and Optimization: Conducting comprehensive testing and validation of newly installed machines and equipment, utilizing data analysis to identify opportunities for process optimization and quality improvement.
