Job Description FabriHub is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to remotely oversee our outsourced manufacturing processes and collaborate with partner factories. In this crucial role, you will leverage your expertise in outsourced manufacturing, team leadership, and quality checks to receive manufactured parts. You will excel at communication, collaboration, and problem-solving, leading to successful partnerships and high-quality deliverables. Key Responsibilities 1. Operation Management Manage and oversee our network of partner factories, fostering strong relationships and collaborative partnerships. Lead and virtually manage a remote team of local factory representatives or quality control personnel, ensuring clear communication and effective delegation. Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies for outsourced manufacturing. Monitor and analyze production performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Conduct regular audits and assessments of partner factories to ensure quality compliance and process adherence. 2. Quality Control Establish and maintain robust quality control procedures, including remote inspections, data analysis, and corrective action measures. Conduct virtual quality checks on parts before shipment, ensuring they meet agreed-upon standards. Collaborate with partner factories and internal teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly. 3. Technology & Reporting Proficient in utilizing project management and communication tools for remote collaboration. Familiarity with manufacturing software or quality management systems is a plus. 4. Communication & Collaboration Foster open and transparent communication with partner factories, remote team members, supervisors, and stakeholders. Utilize effective communication tools and strategies to bridge geographical and cultural differences. Provide clear and concise instructions, delegate effectively, and actively listen to feedback. Regularly communicate production performance metrics and progress towards goals. Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline status, and market trends to inform strategy. Provide regular updates on progress toward targets and identify opportunities for improvement. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in managing outsourced manufacturing operations or a related field or industrial sector. Demonstrated experience in implementing quality control procedures and resolving quality issues in remote environments. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed operation processes in a high-pressure environment. Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills. Strong negotiation and communication abilities, both verbal and written. Ability to read and interpret 2D mechanical drawings. Proficiency in project management tools.
